1. SCOPE OF WORK
The services listed on the approved quote are the complete and only services included. Anything not listed is excluded.
Additional areas, surfaces, or services requested on the day of service will be quoted separately and require the Customer's approval before that work begins. Requests made verbally on-site for work outside the approved quote constitute new work and will be billed accordingly.
Pricing is based on the property size and condition described by the Customer or observed during the estimate. If actual conditions differ materially from what was described, Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC will notify the Customer before proceeding and provide a revised price. The Customer may decline the revised price, in which case a trip charge applies.
2. WHAT CLEANING CAN AND CANNOT DO
Pressure washing and soft washing clean surfaces. They do not repair, restore, resurface, or replace them.
Not all staining can be removed. The following commonly cannot be removed completely and are not grounds for a refund or non-payment:
- Rust and fertilizer staining
- Oil that has penetrated deep into porous concrete
- Paint transfer, tire marks, and battery acid
- Permanent discoloration, etching, or scarring
- Efflorescence (white mineral bloom on brick, concrete, or stone), which may remain or return after cleaning
- Oxidation on vinyl or aluminum siding, which is a separate restoration service and is not included in standard house washing
Improvement is expected; complete removal is not guaranteed on any surface.
Surfaces clean unevenly. Areas previously sealed, patched, repaired, or shaded may finish differently than surrounding areas. Some variation in the finished result is normal and expected.
3. PRE-EXISTING CONDITIONS
Cleaning removes soil and organic growth. In doing so, it also reveals conditions previously concealed by that buildup.
The following are frequently exposed during service and are pre-existing conditions, not damage caused by Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC:
- Cracked, spalling, flaking, or pitted concrete
- Loose, failing, or missing mortar
- Peeling, chalking, or failing paint
- Rotted, soft, or splintered wood
- Oxidized or chalky siding
- Torn or brittle window screens
- Failed caulking, glazing, or window seals
- Chipped or cracked glass
- Prior repairs, patches, and mismatched materials
Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC documents property conditions with photographs before beginning work. These photographs serve as the record of the property's condition at the time of service.
4. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
The Customer must complete the following before scheduled service:
- Close and securely latch all windows, doors, and storm windows. The Customer is responsible for any water intrusion through unsecured, aged, failed, or defective windows, doors, seals, or weather stripping.
- Move all vehicles off driveways and designated work areas.
- Remove patio furniture, grills, planters, decorations, door mats, hoses, toys, and loose items from work areas prior to arrival.
- Light items (chairs, small tables, door mats, and similar items) will be moved at no additional cost.
- Larger or heavier items (grills, sectionals, large planters, storage boxes, and similar items) may be moved for an additional charge, quoted before the work begins.
- The Customer may instead request that items be worked around, which may result in uncleaned areas at no reduction in price.
- Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC is not responsible for damage to items the Customer was asked to move but did not.
- Secure pets indoors and keep children inside during service.
- Provide unobstructed access to the property, including unlocked gates.
- Provide a working outdoor water spigot with adequate flow, and a working exterior electrical outlet if required.
- Disclose any exposed wiring, damaged outlets, unsecured fixtures, or known structural issues in the work area.
- Identify any rare, prized, or unusually sensitive landscaping before service.
Failure to complete these items may result in rescheduling, a trip charge, or areas being left uncleaned at no reduction in price.
5. ACCESS, CANCELLATION, AND TRIP CHARGES
Weather. Service may be rescheduled due to rain, freezing temperatures, or high winds with no penalty to either party.
Late cancellation and no-shows. A trip charge of $65 applies if the Customer cancels within 24 hours of scheduled service or is a no-show. A no-show means the Customer is unavailable, unreachable, or the property is inaccessible when Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC arrives at the scheduled time.
Access failure. If Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC arrives and cannot access the property, cannot access a reliable water source, or cannot perform the work due to unmet Customer responsibilities, the $65 trip charge applies and service must be rescheduled.
Repeated rescheduling. The Company reserves the right to require prepayment or decline further service following two or more Customer-initiated cancellations.
6. STOPPAGE OF WORK
Once work has begun, the full quoted amount remains due if the Customer stops, interrupts, or cancels the job for any reason other than a legitimate defect in workmanship. Setup, chemical allocation, equipment preparation, fuel, and scheduled time are committed at the start of the job and cannot be recovered.
If work is stopped due to a workmanship concern, Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC must be given the opportunity to inspect and correct the issue before any adjustment to the invoice is considered.
7. PAYMENT
Payment is due within three (3) days of the invoice date. Invoices are sent upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged in writing. Jobs exceeding $700 require a 25% non-refundable deposit before scheduling. Deposits are non-refundable if the Customer cancels within 24 hours of scheduled service or fails to provide property access.
Late payment. Invoices unpaid after three (3) days are past due and incur a one-time late fee of $35.
Returned payments. Returned checks or failed electronic payments are subject to a $35 administrative fee.
Chargebacks. The Customer agrees not to initiate a payment dispute or chargeback without first contacting Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC in writing and allowing seven (7) days to resolve the matter directly. Chargebacks filed without prior notice will be contested with photographic documentation, signed agreements, and service records.
Collections. Accounts unpaid after thirty (30) days may be referred to collections or pursued in small claims court. The Customer agrees to cover reasonable costs of collection, including court filing fees and, to the extent permitted by Alabama law, reasonable attorney fees.
8. CLAIMS AND COMPLAINTS
Workmanship concerns. Workmanship issues must be reported within twenty-four (24) hours of service completion. Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC will return to inspect and correct legitimate workmanship defects at no additional charge.
Property damage claims. Damage claims must be reported within twenty-four (24) hours of service completion and before any repair, alteration, cleaning, or modification is attempted. Claims reported after the condition has been altered cannot be verified and will not be accepted.
Past due disputes. Complaints raised after the 24-hour window, or raised for the first time after an invoice becomes past due, will not be grounds for a refund or reduction of the balance owed.
Walkthrough. If the Customer is present at completion and inspects the work without raising a concern, the work is deemed accepted as complete and satisfactory.
9. CUSTOMER AUTHORITY
The Customer represents that they own the property or are authorized by the owner to approve the work described in the quote.
The Customer is responsible for obtaining any necessary approvals required by a homeowners association (HOA), landlord, property manager, or governing body prior to service. Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC is not responsible for fines, penalties, or disputes arising from work performed without required authorizations.
If work is halted or reversed because the Customer lacked authority to approve it, the full quoted amount remains due.
10. QUOTE VALIDITY
Quotes are valid for thirty (30) days from the date issued. After 30 days, pricing is subject to re-evaluation based on current rates and property conditions.
Quotes are based on the property condition described or observed at the time of the initial estimate. Properties that deteriorate significantly before service begins may require a revised quote.
11. SCHEDULING AND ARRIVAL
Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC makes every reasonable effort to arrive as scheduled. However, arrival times are estimates. Delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control, including weather, traffic, equipment maintenance, or preceding jobs requiring additional care.
The Customer will be notified promptly when a significant delay is expected.
A delayed arrival is not grounds for cancellation without charge, nor is it grounds for a discount or price reduction. If the Customer cancels due to an arrival delay within the 24-hour window, the standard trip charge applies.
12. HIGH-RISK SURFACES
Certain surfaces carry elevated risk of irregular results even when cleaned with industry-standard methods. Where the quote includes any of the following, the Customer acknowledges the associated risks:
Wood decks, fences, and railings. Aged, weathered, or soft wood may show raised grain, splintering, or color variation after cleaning. A test patch will be performed where practical. Wood is cleaned at the lowest effective pressure; slight texture change is normal and not a defect.
Sealed, stained, or painted surfaces. Cleaning can loosen failing sealant, stain, or paint unevenly. Surfaces with existing coatings will likely require refinishing after cleaning. Refinishing is not included in standard cleaning quotes.
Stamped, stained, or coated concrete. Decorative color and patterns reside in thin surface layers and sealers. Cleaning will dull the surface sheen, and resealing is typically required afterward.
Historic or aged properties. Aged mortar, soft brick, original glazing, and vintage materials are fragile and may react unpredictably even under low pressure.
Advance notice and authorization. The technician will walk the property and advise the Customer of specific surface risks before starting. If the Customer is not present, the technician will document conditions via photograph prior to beginning. If the Customer declines a test area or authorizes work after being advised of risks, service proceeds at the Customer's sole risk.
13. SUBCONTRACTORS AND HELPERS
Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC reserves the right to use trained employees or subcontracted technicians to complete services. All personnel adhere strictly to these terms.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC's total liability for any claim arising from services performed is limited to the total amount paid by the Customer for those specific services.
Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC is not liable for:
- Pre-existing damage or underlying conditions revealed during cleaning
- Water intrusion through unlatched windows, doors, vents, or openings with failed or degraded weather seals
- Damage to loose personal items left in designated work areas
- Failure or flaking of aged caulking, glazing, mortar, paint, or surface sealants
- Damage resulting from faulty exterior wiring, loose electrical outlets, or unsecured fixtures
- Temporary vegetation effects resulting from standard biodegradable cleaning solutions (such as mild leaf spotting)
- Loss of use, lost income, or indirect consequential damages
Nothing in this section limits liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
15. RIGHT TO REFUSE OR DISCONTINUE SERVICE
Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC reserves the right to decline or discontinue service at any point due to:
- Unsafe site conditions
- Aggressive, threatening, or abusive behavior toward technicians
- Property conditions materially differing from initial representations
- Unpaid prior invoices
Where work is discontinued mid-job due to site safety or Customer conduct, payment remains due for work completed up to that point.
16. PHOTOGRAPH AND MEDIA RELEASE
The Customer grants Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC permission to photograph and record work areas before, during, and after service for marketing, training, website, and social media materials.
Media will not display visible house numbers, vehicle license plates, or identifiable personal likenesses.
The Customer may opt out of this release by submitting a written request to Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC prior to the start of service.
17. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Entire agreement. These Terms and Conditions, together with the approved quote, constitute the full agreement between the parties and supersede all prior verbal or written discussions.
Governing law. This agreement is governed by the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Severability. If any provision is deemed invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and all remaining provisions will remain in full force.
Notices. Written notices under this agreement may be delivered via email or text message to the contact details provided on the approved quote.
Amendments. These terms may only be amended in writing with explicit approval from Saltwater Pressure Wash LLC.

By approving the accompanying quote, the Customer confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety.
The Customer acknowledges that electronic acceptance carries the full legal force and effect of a handwritten signature under the federal ESIGN Act and the Alabama Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.
